Thank you for your interest in employment at Furnace Creek Inn & Ranch Resort, Stovepipe Wells Village or Scotty's Castle all located in Death Valley National Park.
We offer year-round employment opportunities in the areas of Rooms, Retail, Maintenance, Golf Course, Clerical and Food & Beverage.
There are a limited number of seasonal employment opportunities. Ideally, winter seasonal employees would be available from mid-October through mid-May. A limited number of summer seasonal positions are also available.
Benefits
A benefit package that includes, life insurance, Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, a paid vacation plan, paid holidays (including your birthday), is available for all core full-time employees.
Days Off
We attempt to schedule each employee two days off in succession. Supervisors will attempt to arrange the same day(s) off for spouses or domestic partners, however, it cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, being scheduled for the same shift hours cannot be guaranteed for spouses or domestic partners.
Recreation
For the person who loves the outdoors, our location is ideal. Employees may use the Ranch tennis courts, swimming pool and golf course at no charge. Also at the Ranch are horseshoe pits, and volleyball and basketball courts. There are numerous hiking opportunities within the 3,000,000-acre national park. For those with fitness in mind, we have a new employee exercise and weight room. There is also a stable, where horseback riding is available October through May. Group rides into the spectacular desert surrounding Furnace Creek are free to employees on a space available basis.
Discounts
A 20% discount is given at selected public restaurants to employees and immediate family. In addition to the restaurant discounts, a 20% discount is available on curios and gift items at the General Store, Inn Gift Shop and Golf Pro Shop, The General Store and Nugget Gift Shop at Stovepipe Wells Village and Scotty's Castle Gift Shop. We also offer a 50% room discount at many Xanterra Parks & Resorts' properties including: The Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion National Parks. These discounts are subject to approval and availability.
