Join us on Christmas Eve for an elegant dinner with a special holiday featured entree of Slow Braised Veal Shank in addition to the full menu in the Inn Dining Room. After dinner beginning at 9 pm, there will be an informal gathering around the sparkling lobby Christmas tree with complimentary cookies and hot chocolate as we prepare for the arrival of St. Nick.
Or, if you prefer a more casual evening celebration, stop by the Wrangler Steakhouse, Forty Niner Cafe or Corkscrew Saloon for your evening meal. But don’t miss the opportunity to sit around the outdoor fireplaces in front of the Corkscrew Saloon and enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies at 9 pm before Santa Claus makes his way across our spectacular star filled skies. Yes kids, Santa will find you wherever you are, even in Death Valley at the Furnace Creek Resort!
Enjoy a special festive holiday brunch at the Furnace Creek Dining Room on December 25 from 11 am-2 pm. Featuring holiday classics and unique desert inspired creations, you’ll pamper your taste buds without washing a single dish! And after spending your afternoon exploring the local canyons for any presents Santa may have dropped from his sleigh last night, return for a delicious 3 course menu created by Chef Kirchhoff served between 4:30-9 pm.

- Join the excitement of the New Year celebration on the Marquez Deck for hors d’oeuvres and champagne, indulge in our chef’s special five-course menu, toast to the New Year and dance the night away. 8:30 pm-12:15 am $150 person which includes a bottle of wine or sparkling wine per couple
- We are also offering a seating beginning at 5:30 pm for those revelers that prefer to celebrate New Year’s Eve on East Coast Time (9 pm) by watching the ball drop in the comfort of their guest room. 5:30-8 pm $85 per person includes a glass of wine or sparkling wine
New Year’s Day
After relaxing in your room while enjoying the pageantry of the beautiful floats and marching bands in the 128th Rose Parade and before heading out to find your adventure in the spectacular scenery of Death Valley National Park, join us in the Inn Dining Room for another bountiful brunch buffet prepared by Chef Kirchhoff and his culinary team.
