Death Valley National Park

Possibly the most uniquely situated resort in the United States; Furnace Creek Resort gives you the perfect vantage point from which to explore Death Valley National Park.

Everywhere you look, you will find natural wonders unknown in any other part of the world. There are salt flats, ancient geological formations, chiseled canyons and the lowest point in the Americas, Badwater at 282 feet below sea level. The surrounding majestic mountains rise to 11,500 feet.

From either resort, you can take your pick of memorable explorations. Whether you travel around for an entire day or head out for just a few hours, you'll be taken aback by all that is unique to one of America's largest national parks.

You'll discover historic borax mining sites, Ubehebe Crater, Ghost Towns, Dante's View (5,475 feet above the valley's floor), Zabriskie Point, Artist's Palette, Badwater and Devil's Golf Course - a vast expanse of knobby salt formations rising from the earth. Make sure you visit Scotty's Castle, one of the most popular and historical sites in Death Valley. Whatever you find on your journeys, you couldn't ask for a better place to start and end them than Furnace Creek Resort.
